Love and Freedom!
Initially, Love and Freedom was meant to be shared weeks ago but something in me kept pushing it back. And if there is one thing I have learned and held onto for the past few years, it is to always listen to my inner guidance. Just for the record, I did not start listening to this inner wisdom until I was sure my discernment was stronger than my emotions. However, immediately after I posted Love and Willpower!, I had another hunch to start writing a new post that would be shared in a week, this was a much closer interval than I would normally have between my posts, but I knew this was the voice of GOD. Now Let’s fast forward to today; the day I began writing this post, it finally dawned on me that God was orchestrating the perfect timing. Independence Day is a week away and what topic is better to discuss than freedom?
The moral of this story is that inner guidance fosters a broad approach to personal fulfillment; it gives us the autonomy to choose our path and the wisdom to navigate such a path in alignment with our deepest purpose while also expanding our perspective of freedom. The sacred book illustrated this expression in John 8:32 “Know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” I love this verse because it talks about obedience, living in one’s truth, alignment with the spirit, and eliminating ignorant acts that might prevent us from experiencing liberty. Aside from this divine promise of spiritual freedom that has been made to us, God’s love is like a light compass, readily waiting to showcase itself to us; serving as a guide for us to believe that freedom is indeed possible for those who live and are led by the spirit.
His love is proof that we have nothing to fear because we belong to him. Hence, all sins, shame, perceptions, and beliefs that have restrained us from experiencing our ultimate birthright (Freedom) can be released if we live our truth. I hope this post helps us to look into our lives and see where we have placed limitations on ourselves while remembering that our heritage and inheritance are waiting for us to be obedient to God’s spirit. When we align ourselves with God’s spirit and divine promises, we make good decisions and can confidently walk in true freedom.
