Love and Creativity!
I’ve heard a handful of people say things like “I lost my creativity.” I find this to be hysterical because the creative force cannot be lost, it is a gift from God. The truth is once creativity has caught hold of a man, it never lets him go. I know this because I have experienced pretty much the same, and there is a name for it. It is called “BURN OUT”
One helpful tip I find very effective is taking a step back from it all to RELEASE > REJUVENATE > REFOCUS. This sounds bizarre, specifically for people who have deadlines to meet, but this little remedy does not only revitalize our brainpower rather it boosts our creative endeavors to move at a greater speed than ever. Even the Bible tells us that God created the world in 6 days. As the creator himself, He could have done it all in a day. Alternatively, He chose to stretch it out in a matter of days so He could create from Love, not hastiness.
To be creative is to be able to turn a mustard seed of idea or knowledge into something significantly broader than it was. Love and creativity are complementary given that they both require adopting many different forms and equilibriums. When we create, we morph into the sacredness of the Earth; weaving together nothingness to manifest thoughts and bring imagination to physical existence. Balancing consciousness and creative force (whether it is the birth of an idea or a child) is what Love is about.
This is why fertility and creativity are said to be the closest we can get to God because they involve creating and being in harmony with the ultimate creator, God is the ultimate creator. As revealed in Romans 1:20, “O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom, you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures.” God wants us to put our creativity to good use; He wants us to take our time to create, He wants us to fall in love with our creation, embrace it, and speak to it lovingly. I hope this write-up serves as a reminder that you are allowed to create with love and ease and to never forget to shine like the green emerald splendor that you are.
