Writing this post took longer than expected, not because I lacked inspiration, but because I struggled to find the perfect starting point. One undeniable truth I will forever carry in my heart is that when we offer God our deepest love, respect, and honor, He draws us near to His wisdom with an embracing warmth.
Reflecting on the tumultuous year when my business seemed to be unraveling, I recall the stirring in my spirit. A whisper from God urging me to pour what little remained into the lives of those less fortunate during the holiday season. Without hesitation, driven by my profound love for children, I took action.

The following year, a new vision took shape in my heart: I was commanded to amplify my efforts by advocating for children and orchestrating a fundraiser. Though the event didn’t unfold as I had hoped, I embraced this challenge with open arms, transforming it into a cherished holiday tradition that I honored year after year. Then, the Lord planted an extraordinary idea in my mind to write a book, New Earth Shangri-La: A Tale for Another Time, because the miraculous journey behind its creation deserves its own spotlight.
As I delved into the editing phase, God imparted a powerful message to my heart once again: He urged me to donate all proceeds from the book. His words echoed in my mind, “This is not yours.” After the book was published, as the sales began to trickle in, I found myself in prayer, seeking divine guidance on which children’s organization should receive these proceeds. My heart raced when silence followed my plea; anxiety crept in, and the weight of responsibility felt heavy on my shoulders.
Then, a revelation arrived weeks later. Suddenly, the name of Children’s Mercy pierced through the stillness like a beacon of hope. It was a resounding affirmation that brought me back to the years of instruction and unwavering obedience, as a partaker in the season of giving, a reminder of God’s incredible handiwork. How my life has been painted with moments like this reveals He has a purpose behind every action.
When we choose to listen and obey the Lord, we are reminded that nothing lies beyond His capability. The question resonates profoundly: “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
Genesis 18:14
Thank you all for your support. I appreciate everyone who bought my book to help make this Christmas special for children. May God’s mercy always be with you. Wishing you a wonderful holiday and a merciful 2026.
