We can all agree that perceiving conversion as simply a walk in the park is a form of self-deception. In reality, true conversion requires a profound journey of change, growth, transformation, and development in the character of God. It is essential to recognize that these qualities are not naturally inherent in us; rather, they are precious spiritual gifts bestowed to us, enabling us to flourish in grace and deepen our faith. This insight is indeed extraordinary, revealed only to those who have been chosen to embrace it with wisdom, humility, and the illuminating light of the divine.
At the heart of our being lies God’s greatest gift: Love. This divine Love serves as the foundation for both our physical existence and our spiritual understanding. While the notion of love and spiritual enlightenment may seem exhilarating, we must not deceive ourselves into believing that the path will be devoid of obstacles or swift in its course. Despite the challenges that lie ahead, we are urged to persevere in our pursuit of growth, refusing to let discouragement deter us. Surrendering to doubt and halting our journey of development is akin to a child proclaiming they will “quit life” simply because they have stumbled.
To attain spiritual wisdom and embody it with discernment, one must cultivate a heart full of humility and invite the divine light into their life. Trust in Jesus Christ, heed His guidance, and diligently keep His commandments, for it is through these actions that we can fully experience the richness of our spiritual journey.
